We feature stories under 1000 words.
Submissions are welcome via our SUBMITTABLE page.
(We're open during the final seven days of each academic month, with the exceptions of November, December, and April. So: the
final weeks of August, September, October, January, February, and March. In November and April, we're open from the 8th through the 14th.
We're not open in December.
If we hit our cap with Submittable, submissions will close before the end of the
submission period.)

PUBLISHING SCHEDULE
We post new stories at least once a week for nine months of the year. Our summer break runs from mid-June to mid-September. Over the break we put up our award annual, The Wigleaf Top 50 Very Short Fictions.
