Dear Wigleaf,

I can't tell if this is seasonal depression or depression or just life now, life as it's going to be. I'm trying to move slower, to enjoy things in a smaller, different way — if you will, to live a sort of postcard life, to be able to list the good things, all of them, on command. I am trying to fit life in a little space, so that nothing can dislodge it from me. I hope, in the coming years, it will be like a suitcase for survival.

How are you doing in this changed landscape, this uncertain world? How has your vision shrunk or grown? Have you packed your suitcase too?

Diminished but undaunted,
Amber
