Dear Wigleaf,

I'm afraid to microwave the eggnog. If you microwave regular milk too long it gets filmy and weird, kind of like eggnog I think, which seems unpleasant. Is eggnog just milk with eggs in it? Is it rotten milk? If I microwave it does it get extra-weird, like a hot milkshake?

I bought eggnog at the store and now I don't know what to do with it. I wish I could go to a cafe. They would know what to do.

I imagine you in a cafe somewhere, maybe in Idaho. Vermont? For some reason, I can picture a man holding out a plate with a cinnamon roll on it. Will you dunk it in your eggnog latte? (You spill. You've caused a mess. It's so gluggy.)

I forgot to tell you that I like a squeeze of chocolate in my eggnog. Totally normal. You understand, right?
