Dear Wigleaf, I think my housekeeper is breaking up with me. It started slow. A trickle of last–minute calls every other week to change the day. No explanation. The last time she was here, she said she was going on vacation and wouldn't be back to clean for a month. I started thinking maybe someone new was paying her more, wasn't as messy, or had friendlier cats. I finally said to my husband, "I think she's cheating on us," and he said, "I've been thinking the same thing." We may never see her again. Eventually, we'll rock/paper/scissors to see who has to figure out how the vacuum cleaner works. Thought you should know in case you're still planning to visit. xo Julia - - -
