Audio Recording #8 Debora Kuan
You have reached the pre-emptive voicemail service and option menu. The
person you have reached is not answering your call. He or she has
opened up the phone, seen your name, and debated throughout the
duration of at least three rings whether or not he or she should press
"Accept." If it is any consolation, he or she has paced the room in
circles and bitten one nail while trying to make this decision. But at
this point, Voicemail would like to suggest it appears unlikely that
the decision will be in your favor. To leave a message, press 1; to
hang up and try calling again in the hopes of inspiring guilt, pity, or
fear, press #; to simply hang up the phone and give up the chase, press
the "End" key. Voicemail would like to recommend the third option.
